Age-Friendly Regina Website Celebration
We celebrated our new website on Sept 25 at the Regina Public Library.
We learned that:
- The Age-Friendly world wide movement is “through the eyes of older adults for the whole community”
- There are special features of the website that make it easy to use and accessible for all
- There is valuable information in our guides:
- Housing Supports and Options
- Transportation
- Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Crime Prevention and Safety
- The guides are accessible in many languages
- Our community partners (RODS and RIWC) are helping newcomers to our community find the information they need in their own language
